Hair Update: Cut, Color, STRAIGHT!!!!!!

A couple of weeks of ago, I got bored with my hair (again) and I decided to do something different, so I went to Harmony Salon and Day Spa here in Bloomington and I got my hair colored and I got a "silk" flat iron.

I got my hair colored with a cooper red in the top and chocolate brown on the bottom.

But, of course that didn't last too long. A couple of days later my hair got puffy and I remember the one thing I hated about my hair when it was relaxed, It wouldn't behave and I would have to flat iron it. I'm not real big on putting a lot of heat on my hair so I just washed it.

I think it looks great and a lot more interesting with the color!!!



Embracing My Kinky Coils

For the past month and a half I have had my yarn braids in (and I'm still going on to post and upload my video on those as promised, just have to find the time to work on it, but it's coming soon I promise), well I was getting tired of those because, my hair was growing rapidly and I got tired of redoing my edges so took them out and dyed my hair and I am loving it! Now if I could just find out what products would be the best for my hair that would be great. I'll admit I'm a product junkie. I'm always trying out something new. But times are hard and saving money is a HUGE priority right now, so I'm try to figure out a regimen that works best with what I already have. I'll post later in a different post what tips I've already found that have worked for me. But I just want to update you my hair journey.
